Antoinette Moriarty

M.Sc. Integrative Psychotherapy
Grad. Dip. Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
M.A., B.A. (Hons.)

Antoinette spent 6 years training as an Integrative Psychotherapist in Dublin and at Metanoia Institute, London and is fully registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. Antoinette offers space to explore the challenges, as well as the opportunities, of personal and professional life. An experienced therapist, she seeks to support clients to resolve a range of issues in both realms - including the inter-play between professional roles and personal identity; panic, stress, anxiety and depression and patterns of communication at work and at home. She offers specialist support with childhood and/or adult trauma. An important aspect of her work is to enable clients to make sense of painful behaviour we can all adopt at times to cope with life’s pressures e.g. dependencies on, or control of, relationships, food, alcohol, work or technology. In addition to her private practice, Antoinette manages The Counselling Service of the Law Society of Ireland and is a member of Cork Counselling Centre’s training team.
